The Rules

These are our rules. They are designed to keep this forum pleasant to be around and for the wellbeing of our members, and should not be too hard to keep to. If you break them, you will be warned and your post or topic may be deleted. If you insist on breaking them a second time after being warned, you may be banned. Warnings, deletions and banning are at the administrator and moderator's discretion.

1. This forum is intended as a 'safe space' for feminist parents; anti-feminist topics and comments are therefore not allowed.

2. Any other prejudice or bigotry, including but not limited to racism, homophobia/heterosexism, transphobia/cissexism, ablism, classism, is not allowed.

3. Discussion, debate and even disagreement are allowed. Please try to stay civil. Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

4. The deliberate spreading of misinformation is not tolerated.

5. We are all privileged in some ways, we are all oppressed in some ways. Steer clear of the Oppression Olympics, please.

6. For simplicity, easy readability and easy accessibility of the forum to our users with visual impairments, please do not type in all italics or capitals, or change the size of your text to make it smaller.

7. Please respect that this forum is primarily for and centred around parents. If you are not a parent, please bear in mind any well meaning parenting advice may offend some parents, and please try not to play the 'expert' - you do not know more than a parent does about parenting!

8. No flouncing. If you want to leave the forum, PM the administrator (that would be me) and your account will be deleted. Posts announcing that you're leaving will be deleted immediately; we don't need the drama!
